Single Premier: The New Fortune- Summer’s Gone

The premier of the amazing debut single from this band on the rise

We have a bit of a treat for you this morning as we premier the epic debut single, “Summer’s Gone”, from the California-based band-on-the rise, The New Fortune.

Due off of their debut EP Human, “Summer’s Gone” blends together elements of dark, progressive rock and catchy alternative hooks to create a unique anthematic rock sound. Based in Los Angeles, this rock quartet– consisting of members Alex Flagstad (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Dave Fulmer (Lead Guitar/Background Vocals), Jesse Eagle (Bass/Background Vocals), and James Prinzi (Drums)– have been working tirelessly to pump out the good jams since meeting together at USC in 2012. The fruit of their labor, “Summer’s Gone”proves that The New Fortune’s hard work has paid off.

“Summer’s Gone” is the first of many exciting things on the way from The New Fortune. This Friday, October 10th, The New Fortune will be releasing their debut EP, Human and playing an EP release show at Ground Zero Performance Cafe on the USC campus. They will also be joined by rock band, and former feature artist of The Undiscovered, Carlton.

If you are fortunate enough to be in or around the Southern California area, you should definitely check out The New Fortune this Friday. For those of us located on the opposite coast, we’ll have settle with streaming the EP from across the country.

The New Fortune is a young band with a big rock sound. With a strong single in “Summer’s Gone” under their belt and a EP release on the way, we expect big things to come in the near future from this Cali based group. Be sure to follow The New Fortune over on their Facebook page and check back in on October 10th for the release of their debut EP on their SoundCloud!
