Top 15 Covers of 2014 #15-11
After a long, and unanticipated, busy holiday week, we are finally back to complete out Top 15 Covers of 2014 list!
We will be compiling the list into three separate posts with the top 5 coming at the end of today!
15. Trampled By Turtles- “I’m Going Down (Bruce Springsteen Cover)”
Taking on Bruce Springsteen’s hit song, “I’m Going Down”, Trampled By Turtles amazed us with their impressive bluegrass rendition.
14. Zedd- “Find You (Joshua Cattel ft. Dario Cattel Cover)”
One of EDM’s biggest hits of 2014, Zedd’s “Find You” saw tens of thousands of covers hit YouTube this past. Out of all of those covers, the one that stood out the most was this incredible, heavy-hitting rendition brought to us by Italian brothers Joshua Cattel and Dario Cattel.
13. The Jungle Book- “Wanna Be Like You (Bear Lincoln Acoustic Cover)”
One of our favorite emerging artist from 2014, Bear Lincoln first grabbed our attention with their fun rendition of The Jungle Book’s famous song “Wanna Be Like You”.
12. Michael Buble- “Feeling Good (Dennis Minor Cover)”
Few covers captured our hearts like this one from Dennis Minor. A man who had never sang for anyone before wowed millions with his jaw-dropping cover of Michael Buble’s “Feeling Good”.
11. Nirvana- Heart Shaped Box (Kawehi Cover)
I’ve always said that uniqueness makes a cover stand out, and that could not be more true in Kawehi’s spectacular loop/beatbox cover of Nirvana’s hit song “Heart Shaped Box”. Using a loop pedal and voice modifiers, Kawehi jumped on the music scene in 2014 with her impressive cover.
