Enjoying her meteoric rise to the top of the pop charts this summer, singer-songwriter Kiesza performs a chilling rendition of Haddaway’s hit 90’s track, “What Is Love”.

Slowing down the tempo of the original, Kiesza transforms “What Is Love” from an uptempo eurodance hit into a haunting ballad. Combining her powerful vocals with a simple piano melody, Kiesza creates an eerie sound to help deliver her beautiful message for this song.

Kiesza has recently released a studio recording and music video of this cover, however I felt that her live performance better showcased the talent and emotion behind the song.
