Is there anything this guy says/does that isn’t awesome?

I was browsing the internet last night and came across this awesome series of GIFs taken from an interview with Dave Grohl last year and absolutely loved it.

Over the years, through his work with Foo Fighters and Nirvana, Dave Grohl has established himself as one of the premier names in the music industry. It’s not just his musical talents that have garnered him respect, but also his honest, down-to-earth personality and perceptive thoughts that has made music fans worldwide fall in love with him.

In this interview with  photographer/director Sam Jones- part of the ‘Off Camera’ interview web series- Grohl opens up about his experiences as a musician, his tough times coming up with Nirvana, and dishes some incredible advice for aspiring musicians.

Here at The Undiscovered, we support all artists in their journey to reach their goals. The advice that Grohl gives is something that we completely support. As a music fan first and a blogger second, I can speak from experience from the fans perspective of what Grohl says. Most of the bands I listen to today are the result of seeing a live performance, being blown away, and immediately going to Spotify or YouTube the next day to check out more material from that artist.

Obviously stating it is more simple than the process, but the theme of his statement doesn’t change.

Take risks, work your ass off, and blow people away. The rest will take care of itself.
