B.B. King, Blues Icon, Dead at 89

Sad day today in the music industry as blues icon B.B. King has passed away at the age of 89.

Considered one of the greatest guitarist of all-time, B.B. King was a pioneer and legend in the genre of blues rock. His tireless work ethic and dedication to his craft made him one of the most influential and well respected names in the music, influencing legendary acts like Eric Clapton, Warren Haynes, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Mayer and many more.

The man may be gone, but the influence and impact he has made will never go away. B.B. King brought a whole new sound and style to the art of guitar playing that will influence the way the instrument is played for generations to come. Whether it be his play directly, or a person who was inspired by him, B.B. Kings legacy is sure to be passed along for years to come.
